1. приступа нет к кому it is impossible to address, speak with, or gain access to s.o. (because of his important position, bad mood, quick temper etc): к X-у приступу нет ≈ therms no approaching (getting near, talking to) X; you cannot get near (within ten feet of) X; X is impossible to approach; X is totally unapproachable (inaccessible); [in limited contexts] you don't dare get near (close to) X.
